Planning a trip to Montana maybe Sept... when do colors turn?

Western and Central.  Up from Yellowstone Park in Wyoming.  Glacier Park for
sure. Planning on doing some fishing too.

Anywhere there's a great photo opp would be a place I'd consider visiting.

If possible, I'd like to visit when the leaves are turning.  I estimate Sept
maybe?

I posted a long post on Glacier last year I believe. You can do a
goggle search of Glacier National and look for my name. I posted from
a camping perspective, but I think there's good info about photography
too.
