Need Advice on Digital Camera

I wonder if anyone has a suggestion for a digital camera with the following
attributes:

1. Must be small enough to fix into a shirt pocket.

2. Must have at least 6X optical zoom,

3. Must be able to take photos no larger than 175 KB on at least one setting.

4. Prefer Smart Media storage but not essential.

I've been looking for a camera with these characteristics without success and
would appreciate any suggestions. Please respond to: tc100@comcast.net.

175K images are pretty small even for JPEG. I suggest you look at the
latest panasonic units. In particular the new digital moving picture
camera that records on SD cards. It will meet your criteria. There is
another vendor with a cheap motion picutre camera that records on memory
cards that will also shoot fixed shots in the size you suggest. I can't
remember the name though. A google search should turn it up, or post
again and I will try and find it for you.

There is a newsgroup called rec.photo.digital where you may find this
question gets more responses.
