Low-level light meter suggestion?

I am looking for a meter capable of measuring ambient light levels in
the -4 to -3 range.  Does anyone have a suggestion?  This is too low
for most of the common meters - a +3 EV meter's needle doesn't even
flicker.

The application is measuring background light levels in a home
theater setup.

TIA,
/Chris

The Gossen Luna-Pro F is rated for EV -8 to +24.
At ASA100 it can meter from -4 to 17.
Measures reflected, incident and flash, uses garden
variety 9V battery.
