Mamiya 7

I have a Mamiya 7 and am having problems with bumping the rangefinder
out of whack. I've noticed that instead of objects merging completely
into each other, they seem to line up but a hair above the object.
This can be extremely annoying when trying to focus in low light or on
moving subject matter.  I know that directly under the hotshoe is a
cover plate and a screw. Is there a way to abject this so that the
camera lines back up?

The vertical adjustment for the rangefinder is behind that little plastic
plug to the right of the viewfinder. It's the screw further recessed. Don't
turn it too much, Mamiya warns, though from what you are describing it won't
take but a hair to make your images line back up.

I had to adjust my 7 whilst on vacation (thank goodness for AKI in Colombo
for cheap screwdrivers!) but it's not hard at all.

Good luck.
