Greetings,
Perhaps I overlooked this in the manual, but what happens to depth of
field when I add an extension tube - specifically, the 82mm version?

Thanks in advance,
Tom

DOF gets shorter the more you extend. You can use any DOF calculator
found with Google to calculate the actual DOF. Just add the length of
the tube you are using to the bellows extension. You can read the latter
from the side of your camera body.

I found a very nice DOF calculator here:

http://www.vanwalree.com/optics/vwdof.html

There are interesting articles about DOF and optics. Read those and you
know a lot more.
