I know you can get roll film backs for large format but I saw that you can
get a 35mm back for a Bronica SQAi. Does this mean I can sell my 35mm gear
and just use one camera that produces both Medium Format and 35mm ? Has
anyone got any experience or thoughts on this and any drawbacks I might
encounter ?  I assume that if I use an 80mm PS lens I'll get a standard lens
for roll film and a short portrait when I use the 35mm back ?
Thanks

Not really.

Yes, but you'll never be able to get a wide-angle picture on
35 mm film, as you would with a normal 35 mm camera and, say,
a 20 mm lens.  [ Well, if you want such a thing, anyway... ]

That's why I'm keeping my 35mm gear...

Don't forget that an 80mm lens is an 80mm lens, regardless of format.  So
what is 'normal' on the SQ is a short telephoto on the 35mm frame.  If you
don't own a super-wide for your SQ, you will NOT have a wide angle for shooting
35mm.
On the upside, there are wider range of emulsions in 35mm than are available
on rollfilm.
