V750 test on 35mm

Although the initial opening jpeg does not convey the brilliance of
color the scanner is able to capture I have some crops you may or may
not find of interest along with the technical data.

Thanks for posting this.  The PDF helps.

The sharpening (at 6400 spi) reveals some staircasing
artifacts. You can see them on the petals to the right
of the water droplets.

It looks passable when downsampled to 4000 dpi.
A bit soft compared to the Nikon, but not bad at all
considering the cost.

If you have a chrome or negative that's sharp but
not too precious... we could do a direct comparison
to my LS-8000.  Interested?

PS:  May I post these on the snippets site?
Any info on the film, camera, lens used?

The camera was a F100, the lens is a "G" 28-200 zoom.
