I've been shooting a lot with my Rolleiflex 6008i, which is a great camera,
with great lenses (not that I can afford many of them).  I recently captured
some trilliums on 4x5 b&w film, and thought I'd return the next day with the
rollei and some fuji velvia.  At the last minute I thought to bring along my
old RB67 and 150mm soft focus lens.  Glad I did.  The Rollei shots were
sharp and very well exposed, but the 150mm sf lens was more appropriate to
the subject matter:

I underexposed the shot a little, as I forgot to add a stop for the bellows
extension, but it scanned well enough all the same.

Very nice Matt.  Reminds me of the ones growing wild around my old house way
north of Seattle.

Seems like it would make a nice card for Mother's Day. I just did up a
Polaroid transfer to send off to my mom, along with a card. This one
works better than your previous shot.

Ciao!

Yeah, I was just really pleased with the earlier shot because it was the
first half-way decent one I'd taken with the 4x5.
Thanks, Gordon, and everyone else who replied.

Soft focus lenses...gotta love 'em!  Very appropriate for this particular
shot.

A fortuitous "error".  Not really an error as it just weighted the exposure
toward the highlights (flowers) thereby increasing their details and
minimizing same in the lower values.
