I borrow this lens from a friend, but he forgot to tell me how to use it
before he left.
I know that I can shift the lens from left and right or up and down,
depending on how I rotate the lens.
However, when I found information from the web, it also states that this
lens allows the photographer to maintain proper linear perspective,
identical to PC shift lenses for 35mm cameras..... but how?
And there are some arrow, that I can turn the a button clockwise, I don't
know what is that button for.
Could someone explain how to use this lens? I have searched some information
on the web, but none of them are helpful.
Thank you very much! And Happy new year.

Hi, as it is a shift lens, you can shift the center of the image circle
into one of the possible directions. Normally you would shift the lens
upwards to avoid perspective distortion because you are position usually
lower than the center of the object you want to photograph. If you are
on street level (as example) and you want to picture a tall building,
you need first to place the camera horizontally and then shift the lens
upwards until all details you want in the image to be in. With the 75mm
it is certainly not wide enough to image whole tall buildings but at
least a part of them. Try it out as described and you immediately
understand the mechanics and operation
