Fuji 645 film loading question, re: 220

I have an instruction manual, not for the Zi,  but for the GA 645,  and is
says, for 220 film, when loading:

"220 film special equipment start mark is lined up just ahead of the spool
spindle button on the left side".    Does this apply to the Zi, as well?

After doing justs this,  when I reached the last frame,  the camera
automatically rewound, and the LCD showed "E",  (for empty), as it should.

I assumed this should have completely wound the roll in the taking spool,
but to my horror,  it had not, and about one frame was exposed to daylight.

I am wondering why this occurred, or if I should have advanced the starting
light up a bit further?    Anyone experience this?

I rolled up film on the taking spool by turning the up/down dial, and when I
removed the spool,  it did not feel tight, and I had to take up about 5
inches of slack.

I"m worried that light reached all or portions of the rest off the film.
Fortunately,  that roll was a test roll and not a part of the bargain for
which I had made a contract on this particular wedding.  However,  if it
comes back really damaged by light,  I will have to do another test before I
will fill confident in using this camera in a professional capacity.

Should I expect some fogging?    I should think so,  and so I will find out
on Thursday.

I've never used 220 so this is just from the instruction book.  I assume you
set the pressure plate to 220. They say for 220 to wind it 3 to 5 turns (about
15 cm) around the spool.  You should put some pressure on the left hand spool
when winding to keep tension on the film.  They say that exact start
positioning is not required because the film tip is detected by the Film
Sensor. I use the tension method for 120 and have only had one roll that came
out loose.
