Emulsion is on the inside - I use 70mm color negative film myself...
Regards George Nyman
Since Michael ask this question it has made my curious;
what emulsions are available as 70mm?

IIRC Kodak supplies Portra NC but I'm not sure if that's both perforated
and unperforated. Agfa was offering it's portrait film. They list some
interesting aerial films but don't get me started on trying to order it.
Fuji I think had a portrait film and the same from Konica.

That's the print film B&H shows but only Portra Type II is in stock.
Oh and Kodak used to make IR film in 70mm. That is what got cut down to 120.

In perforated stock (which is what my Pentax 645 uses), currently
there's 160NC, 400NC and various aerographic film. Supposedly VC
is available as well, but I didn't find anyone who stocks it.
Since I'm playing, I'm trying a roll of Agfa N400 PE1, which I
was able to buy for around $41.
