My wife suggested a use for a digital camera when we were hiking in
Glacier's woods, and it struck me so hard, I'll bet I scared away every
bear for a hundred miles. She said "Maybe we should take pictures behind
us as we go along, kind of like a digital crumb trail." Gawd, I love that
woman.

Now on topic - it was not a great day for the 'blads. I broke things that
don't really matter anyway: one advance lever and that stupid film
reminder flap on the back sprung open, twisted and won't close.

Hey! A new niche market waiting to be filled to overflowing. Add built-in
GPS, satellite PCS, infrared strobe, and EPIRB; sell the 3 MP bread crumb
machine to the Hummer crowd for $4k.

How about pop up flags that say we're here, we're here just in case one
takes a wrong turn.

The joy of a forever Unknown Artist is the mystery and potential
of a Blank canvas.

This is a provision for the mind's eye.
I see the lights go on, but realize of course no one's home.
