I've been shooting so much film in my Crown Graphic
that I decided it was time to see what was available
in the way of daylight sheet ilm developing tanks.

What I ended up with was a Jobo 2521 tank and a
2509n 4x5 film reel, bought last Saturday at Glazers
in Seattle.

My first attempt at developing film in it with my
CPE-2 was a series of bracketed exposures off my
balcony - having not done this continuous agitation
stuff (trays, y'know), I wanted to see how it
affected the contrast. Following Ilford's recommen-
dation (-10% development time for continuous agitation)
I found that the as-metered shot (FP-4, 9 minutes in
Ilfotec DD-X) was perfect. Nice.

My changing bag is fine for loading film holders, but
is a bit cramped for loading a 4x5 tank. I sacrificed
a couple of sheets to see how they went in to the reel.
This was very useful when it came time to do it for
real.

I have a box of Velvia 100 in the fridge. Now I can
do something with it!
