I got ahold of the new Velvia in 120 and 35mm. I've shot about tree
rolls total out of the six I initially bought. It appears to have really
fine grain on the light box and scans very well. The impression I have
of the color is that it quite accurate to the  way my eyes typically see
color. It is moderately saturated for most colors, that is I don't find
it saturated at the expense of blocking detail.  Over all ,...It seems
somewhat less saturated than E100vs which is a good thing in my book,
but for one certain shade of red it does saturate a little too much
-IMOP.

I also found this Fuji film processes well (for these 3 rolls)
at my normal lab that sometimes has problems with Fuji films
going slightly  green on normal process.

Now I hope Fuji will offer 4x5 and or larger sheets of this film.

Seems like A big improvement on Provia, as this Velvia seems less
contrast prone than Provia,...but I could be wrong :-)

Have you shot some velvia 50 for your comparison?  I started
a thread on July 3 about velvia 100 versus 100F but there
were no responses.  I have gotten velvia 100 in 4x5 from
a local store here in Denver a couple of weeks ago, but I
have not shot any yet.  I also have velvia 100F in 4x5
but again haven't shot any.  I'm still working on my
supply of velvia 50.  I guess I should go out and do some
velvia 50, 100 and 100F side by side (throw in some provia 100
too).

Not side by side but film the to my eye it looks very similar
to the 50 version, I have a roll of 50 and 3 more rolls of
100 so I can do that. Its certainly different to the 100F version Velvia.
