When I saw the thread "streaks," I immediately thought of streaks of
good photos and not development problems.

Has anyone had a good streak of photos? It seems like I can take photos
that are good techincally, but it's hard to nail an image that has that
intangible quality that will add it to the "top 30" or "top 10" list of
personal photos. Then one day you may get two such images and a few
others that you like. So that begs the question, was it luck, or a
state of mind, or some hangover induced vision?

I believe so.  The question is how to achieve it...
Egoless (yah, right - ed. the ego), somehow disinterested
and engaged at the same time.

Minor White championed a period of meditation before
taking pics.  Om ... the pure white light of stupidity:

Oh blinding light,
Oh light that blinds,
I can not see
Because of thee.

Everybody's worried about stopping terrorism. Well, there's a
really easy way: stop participating in it.
