I've just started using it for shooting youth hockey (poorly lighting, fast
action) and find that I can use a shutter speed of 125 with at F 2.8 for
decent pics, but for alot of action pics I need to be at a SS of 250 or
higher.
I'm using the 1600 ASA color print film, and was wondering if anyone has
shot it at 3200? What kind of results did you get?
Can labs do the processing at 3200, or do you shoot at 3200 and still
process at 1600?
Thanks! Ken

Color negative films cannot be pushed without causing color shifts.
Forget it.

what about using flash? Many local ice rinks have silver, insulated ceilings
and white ice. A single 400ws strobe can go a long way in such a room.

Thanks.....but this is in-line hockey and played outdoors.
I've finally settled on Kodak Ektachrome ASA 1600 and am pushing it a stop
to ASA 3200. At 3200 I should be able to get to a SS of 125.
Worse comes to worse, I'll push to 6400 and shoot at 250 if I have to, but
I'm afraid it will grain out.
