Hi,
I've taken pictures outdoor with Velvia 100F. The slides have been
developed and then left in luggage to travel in Europe. Once arrived
in Europe, I've tried to see them with my daylight balanced jessops
slide viewer, and they are simply perfect. So I asked few enlargements
to a lab, and they gave me pictures with a very strong blue cast. I
tried to scan the developed slides, and I saw that also in the digital
images scanned there is a very strong blue cast (easily removable by
photoshop).
My questions are:
1) Why do you think there is this strong blue cast? Could be the X-Ray
of Airport?
2) Why in the slide viewer I see perfectly fine slides?
Thanks in advance,
Tony

The slide viewer uses an incandescent bulb rich in red and poor in
blue. You can figure it out from there, I hope....
