Hi Guys,

I've just come across a load of film (7 rolls in fact) of Fuji Superia
that have been knocking round for a while.

The expiry date on the carton is August 04, will they still be ok to use
or am I better off binning the lot?  If they are still going to be ok to
use should I be storing them somewhere special to try and eek that last
remaining life out of them (a friend suggested the fridge but I'm worried
about it being too cold in there).

Thanks for the help.

If the film has been kept cool, there is no reason that the resulting images
wouldn't be OK.  Film can be kept in the fridge to extend the "life", but
needs to be removed and left out to come to room temp.

If it's been stored reasonably (in an air-conditioned building) and you do
not need a perfect match to other rolls, they'll be fine.

Nothing wrong with the refrigerator as long as you give the film time to
warm up again before you open the cans.  In fact, I recommend the
refrigerator.

In a previous post Michael A. Covington muttered the following:

Thanks Michael, just what I needed.
