Hi All.
Anyone have a sense of how much it should cost to process a roll of
24exp kodak color negative 35mm film? All I want is the negatives and
an index print. I don't want a print for each exposure or a cd with
images. I had this done earlier this week, and the charge was
$10. Which strikes me as odd, given that the cost for the same work
with a CD is $10.

I would suspect that the lab has a minimum charge and it will cost $10 whether
you get prints or not. In other words, if they can't take in $10 per roll they
would prefer you took your film somewhere else! Only way around this is to ask
in advance what they charge, and take your film to the cheapest place--assuming
price is your primary concern.

$10! The worst I go stuck with is CAD$5.00; a local lab charges me CAD$2.49 for
a 24 and $2.99 for a 36 (cut and sleeved).
