Hi Peter,
you posted a message some months ago about how you had to replace the
Konica battery charger twice or more because it wouldn't last longer
than about three recharge cycles.
I got my Konica 410Z around X-Mas and I seem to experience similar
problems. Amazon guarantees me a replacement for not only the
recharger but the whole camera. They say Konica wants to have it this
way. So I have to send the camera back including the battery charger
and everything. Now, I hope I'll get a recharger with the new camera
that will last longer.
The recharger: I didn't like the looks of it when I first opened the
package. It felt a bit too light weight. It looked cheap and not very
trustworthy.
I just wonder why there arEn't more people complaining about this
thing.
The camera: The Konica 410Z is a rather good and small DigiCam. The
pictures are high quality and it has just enough (not too much)
features to produce some effect shots.
Software: Nothing. There's practically no software that comes with
camera. This doesn't bother me too much because I have all I need, but
I would expect more than just a PDF-Manual and older Versions of
Acrobat-Reader and Apple QuickTime.
Kind regards,
Andi

I had to have a new battery charger in October for my Konica KD510Z after
about two weeks usage. QED in the UK replaced the charger (delivered from
Konica) without requiring that the whole camera be replaced. I did not want
to return the whole box as the camera itself was perfect (no duff pixels,
everything working, superb images....). Just out of interest, I had a Canon
Ixus V and the two chargers and batteries looked virtually identical. The
Canon charger had worked fine for the previous 18 months, hope that the new
Konica charger does too!

Philip
