Does anyone have experience with Gateway digital cameras?
They're currently advertising a DV-S20 Pocket Multi-Cam at a price of
$199.99 and a $100 rebate on it if you purchase an Accessory Kit at $39.99.
It's only a 2 megapixel camera, but the intriguing thing about it (to me at
least) is that it's only 3.5 x 2.5 x 1.2 inches and weighs in at 4.3 oz. I
already own a Kodak DC4800 and a Canon S230 Digital Elph, but I'd love to
have a camera I could carry around all the time for those great photos I
could have taken if only I had my camera with me.
It seems like I could hardly lose by buying this little gem, but if others
have had bad experience with Gateway cameras, I'll probably pass.
Thanks for any input.

I just got one as a Christmas gift from Santa for my 8 year-old
daughter who wants to "make movies". I got it instead of the $99 toy
cam Digital Blue "Digital Movie Creator" she asked for, because it was
technical better, built better, and the same price after rebate,
excluding the "bonus" accessory kit items (she'll love the mini
tripod). Obviously, since it's a week from Christmas, we personally
have no first hand experience. I have come across this comprehensive
October 29th online review since my purchase.

There are 2 sample stills and 3 video clips embedded in the review,
which you may find helpful. The reviewer gave it a 7 out of 10, but 8
reader reviewers averaged a 4, so check out their opinions too!
Hope you find this helpful in making your decision.
