For the last week or so, *every* email spam that's made it past
server-side filters and into my local spam folder has been a 419 scam or a
variant of a 419. I haven't seen a *single* male enlargement or
prescription drug spam -- and that and "I'm a bored single girl" spam had
been all I'd been getting for some time; no 419s at all. Has anyone else
experienced this shift back to the Nigerian scam?

You've thrown a new one at me. What is a 419 scam?

Never mind. Google came through again.

And while there (because I didn't know what a '419' was either) I found
http://www.419baiter.com/ which is a rather interesting site.

I say that generically; I'm sure the fine investment you're buying into is
not a scam. :)

Hi.
I might have been interested in all that money belonging to that oilman who
got killed in the car crash, but just tonight I found out that my email
address has won me £15 million in the Bill Gates lottery.

Since I changed my email address, and give my real one as follows, I get
absolutely no spam (more than a year since I got broandband, 1 MbS DSL,
bound with 3 email addresses).
