Jufi - 05 May 2008 18:40 GMT Well, I never thought I'd spot Brett/Helen while on vacation, but I did. I have photographic proof that they are one in the same person, something we all *know*.

Nice shoes.
:-) George Kerby - 05 May 2008 19:26 GMT No WAY! That was "Rita" in her Evening Wardrobe. You didn't see the Nikon in 'her' belly-pack?

Rita polluted her Canon bodies with inferior glass. Clearly, she can't accessorize like the heshe in this shot.
Man, ya get all kinds on South Beach...

I have better legs. I don't wear lifts. Ain't no bald spots on my hairy pate. Most importantly, I would NEVER wear a fanny pack!

"Par for the course?" heh, heh....

Maybe you'd feel better if you'd lighten up a little. I don't know you, I don't know your situation, I know *nothing* about you. Under those circumstances, I didn't think it was possible to insult you. I just don't know you well enough.

Fair enough. I love a good joke. I'm downright moved by someone's sparkling wit and humor. Believe me when I say that I can take it better than I could dish it out. But knowing the grief that Bret and I are given over stupid assumptions that we are one in the same person, I don't think you can blame me for taking it seriously.
I'd rather just forget about the whole thing.

>I'd rather just forget about the whole thing. You're kidding. That's your life crisis? The fact that a few people tease you via this NG? Holy sh.t, you must have the thinnest skin on the planet. If in fact you are not Bret's sock puppet (I'm really not sure) then you need to leave usenet. I thought you may have had some real problems, but this?
Maybe if you didn't gush so much every time Bret posted a snapshot it wouldn't be so bad. Publicly declaring each and every one of his snapshots as a modern day equivilant to the Mona Lisa is, well, incredibly embarassing. Behave like that, and you will catch some teasing. Deal with it.
Man, I'd hate to be around you if you ever had a *real* problem.

Your assumptions of my problems is nowhere near the intensity of my crisis. I'm not going into detail on usenet, as I learned my lesson the hard way about saying personal things on a newsgroup or forum. All I will say is my brother is dying very soon, and I have some very critical personal problems that I guarantee justifies my feelings right now. So before you make a "fly-by-night" judgement or assessment of my problems, ask first. But I would prefer if you just keep your attitude of "who gives a f.ck" to yourself.

You said that your problem was the fact that people tease you, and made no mention of any serious family problems. Even now, I find it hard to believe you're not simply trolling, and will up the intensity of your "crises" every time I reply.
Sorry, but I believe next to nothing I read on usenet.

I wish I were just trolling. I agree with you that this will be my last post in this matter.

She's told you she's taken it seriously, not as a joke, and she's asked for you to just forget the whole thing. No means no. Take the hint.
No need to push her further and aggravate the issue. We don't know what she might be going through in her personal life, and we don't need to. Just respect her request.
