Managed to slip over to the ballpark for a couple of innings during
today's midday "Businessman's Special."

Great action shots, from watching a bat snap during powerful contact
with the ball, to the exact moment when the ball just touches the bat
for an attempted bunt, or to the action on second base. Emotionally
packed pics gives the viewer the feeling of the game. That's what's
important.
I envy you attending the Lookouts games.  I love baseball and watch it
whenever I can.
Of course my favorite is the IR shot.  It brings the viewer back to a
place in time, to the likes of Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig or Joe
DiMaggio.......don't get me started!
I mean this seriously, you should be the team's photographer.  Anyone
can take ordinary snaps.  You are capable of capturing the emotions,
excitement and the general feeling of being there.  THAT is the sign
of a great photographer.
Excellent work!

Man, now that is what I call being lucky. Being able to get away from
work to grab some
ball park time and some exciting shots as well. I have to agree with
Helen, you should
take your images to the management of the team and see if they offer
you a job. Or if they
are willing to pay for your images for a one time use.

Dang Bret, you must have the timing of a laser beam to be able to
capture images like
these. Besides, the one of the people in the stands is a hoot.

Keep at it and don't let anyone tell you that you can't. You have
proven it time and again.

D-Mac, you talk about it and dream about it.
I do it.

Douglas, Was that a slap at me or Bret? I couldn't tell. If it was at
Bret, I wish you would let go the garbage of the past and move on. If
it was toward me, Then what the freck did I do to irritate You?

Which one of Bret's persona's did I insult this time? Maybe if you label
the mirrors and refer to them as numbers, I might understand better who
is actually taking umbrage.

Draco, do you see what you get when you try to act civil with the
fool?
One reason I have zero sympathy for the deranged psychopath, Douglas
MacDonald, is because he attacks innocent people for no reason.
I could give a rats a.s what lies he tells about me .... I'm used to
it.
But even when sincere people like Helen, Troy, Draco, etc. make
comments he goes after them too.

At first I thought he was just a guy in Australia who enjoyed a good
laugh and liked pulling people's legs.  But I now see that he really
is a deranged buffoon with an overinflated ego and more mental issues
than an entire asylum full of the criminally insane.  It's no wonder
that he can't hold down a steady job and has to be locked in his
daughter's basement.  He's fruit loops, I tell ya!

Why do you keep stimulating him?

It's like teasing the village idiot: more demeaning to the teaser than
the idiot.

How am I stimulating him?  Take this thread, for example.  I post
links to some pics I took that day and he comes in running his mouth
about how someone (either me or Draco, we're not sure) can't take a
decent photo.

I guess I am supposed to ignore the fool, especially since his pics
are so laughably bad that everyone gets a good chuckle whenever they
are posted.

Put yourself in my place.  When Tony Polson crakcs on you do you just
let it go?  Nope.  You remind everyone of his lousy train pics.
Goose ... gander.

You're really beginning to focus!

Congrats Bret.  I look forward to seeing more of your photos.

Now I wonder which one of Douglas' "persona's" responded to my
question. If you need lables, then I would start with your own
mirrors. So you can keep all the things you state in line with the
persona you are attempting to use at that point.
As for whom is taking the "umbrage" you only have to look at my
signature to see. I have not ever changed my name nor address in all
the time I have been posting. Something I can't say about you sir.
I will still offer my opinions about the images people wish to share
and whom ask for critques to help better their craft of photography.
I will still offer help and support to those I can.
I will still give my opinion on images as I see them.
If my view is differant than the others and we don't agree, well
that is okay too.

If you think I may be a bit simple or nieve. But I have seen enough
of the world to know that kindness beats anger everytime.

That should dispel any myths about Draco being me.
