Approx the size of a 3.5x5 card.

If you're interested it will be shown at the Javits Convention Center
show this week.

You can replace the batts in the Z and use it as a backup.

Or you can send it to me. ;-)))))

The SC will be out in time for you.

Quantum doesn't announce things before they can be shipped.

I'll bet B&H already has their order in for all the new products.

I didn't think of doing this because Quantum had dropped the Z from
their line ... but I just Googled it and found a shop with Sanyo
replacement batteries for $60 installed ... wonder if they have the
'memory effect' and similar recharge times?

Usually B&H will have an early link to new products so you can
pre-order or get on the 'notify me when in stock' email list, or at
least they do this for hot selling new cameras ... so that's why I was
asking.

Thanks again.

Quantum does it for $78.

They'll check everything while they have it.

Many companies announce products well in advance of actual
availability.

Quantum doesn't do that.

Dan, if you are with Quantum marketing ... do you know when this model
will ship?  I just checked B&H and they don't have it listed yet.  I
probably need to buy something in the next 3 weeks or so.

Thanks.
