Thanks - it does seem to have been down for quite some time.  Perhaps,
knowing Phil's enthusiasm for banning people, he's conducted the ultimate
purge and thrown everybody off.

Yes, thanks, back online - hard disk failure according to the site.

It's a great site (probably the best photo site on the web) I just wish that
it was a bit less authoritarian.  It's like Pinochet's Chile sometimes -
people suddenly disappearing without trace.

i go often there, too. Excellent because of very thorough reviews, from
specs to test shots, comparison shots etc...and, sure, noise figure
comparison shots are great, since it's easy to establish the difference
between various cameras.
