I am a long time Nikon user, but new to flash.  I use a cp5700 with an
SB80DX flash speedlite.  Anyone out there tell me how to use this set up to
it's best advantage.  My main question is, in TTL mode, do I still use the
settings on camera to take the photo?  Is the flash unit automatically
synched to the camera, or, do I also have to set the shutter?  As you can
see, I need help.  Thanks,

Aren't all these questions addressed in the manuals?
