Hans Schoelink - 27 Feb 2006 07:39 GMT > Check out this guy's site: > http://christianbonanno.com/index1.html > He is giving away his photographs. ? His photographs aren't that good. No wonder they're for free...

No wonder they're for free... Actually my friend saw an image of the turtles in the Sun Magazine which is how she found the web site. And a quick search also showed him published in another magazine. Good enough to be published I guess.
It is weird that you sound mean and sarcastic about it. Why is that? Can I see some of your photographs?
This world is f.cked up. It seems someone does something nice and look what you get.

Hans Schoelink - 27 Feb 2006 21:00 GMT My Photographs?
Take a look at:

They are for free too!

Hans Schoelink - 28 Feb 2006 08:26 GMT I can send you a couple of shots via e-mail... Free of charge! Just let me know and I will try to find some creative ones.
regards, Hans.

RockDude - 28 Feb 2006 15:33 GMT YOU GUYS NEED TO GET A LIFE AS AFTER READING THIS I HAVE YET TO GET THE POINT OF YOUR ENTIRE DIALOG.
grruffbowwow@yahoo.com - 28 Feb 2006 16:56 GMT > YOU GUYS NEED TO GET A LIFE AS AFTER READING THIS I HAVE YET TO GET THE > POINT OF YOUR ENTIRE DIALOG. JUST IN CASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW, THERE ARE SMALL LETTERS AVAILABLE ON THE KEYBOARD TOO.
The guy was self-promoting his website using a phony name, trying to make everyone think he's NOT self-promoting, and he's getting spanked for it. It's considered incredibly bad netiquette, it would have been much better form to just come out and say who he was and invite everyone to visit. He may have taken some lumps, but it would at least show he had the courage to stand up for his creations. He even pulled his blog down because someone took offence at his cr@ppy penmanship and lack of conviction and basically called him a mental masturbator.

[quoted text clipped - 10 lines] > his blog down because someone took offence at his cr@ppy penmanship and > lack of conviction and basically called him a mental masturbator. You guys are messed up. I am not the person who owns the site. Have fun thinking that however, I'd love to take credit. I still don't know why you are all pissy about someone giving away free images. Is it that threatening?
John Sessions - 27 Feb 2006 22:22 GMT > My Photographs? > [quoted text clipped - 6 lines] > Regards, Hans. > www.come-along.nl Well, I went to your site but you have to be a member to look at the big images. So they are not free, are they. Also, the other guy offers very high resolution images. Yours are only good for the web.
Also, it is very easy to go to some exotic place and take pictures. http://www.come-along.nl/ You're images are very ordinary. African animals. Wowwee. That white Rhino has a fricking branch in front of it's face.
Seems your just an ordinary greedy motherf..ker and you'll never realize what true freedom means.

Helen - 27 Feb 2006 18:50 GMT > Check out this guy's site: > He is giving away his photographs. ? He's charging a little bit more than they're worth, in my opinion.
But MOST annoying - what gives him the bloody right to resize my browser window? That is MOST unforgiveable.
John Sessions - 27 Feb 2006 19:20 GMT > > Check out this guy's site: > > He is giving away his photographs. ? > > He's charging a little bit more than they're worth, in my opinion. He's no Weston but really, do you think this is a bad photo? http://christianbonanno.com/portfoliotwo/27.html or this one? http://christianbonanno.com/portfoliothree/34.html
I am really finding it weird how negative people are about it. Is my taste that poor?

Who tied you to the monitor and glued your eyelids open?

You should hear yourself! That was perfectly ironic!
Helen - 27 Feb 2006 21:31 GMT > Who forced you to go to christianbonanno.com? Nobody forced me. I *chose* to click your link. That was my own free will.
> You should hear yourself! That was perfectly ironic! You were talking about being forced. There is a difference between force and free will - at least here in the western world. I suggest you should hear yourself and consider the concept known as choice.
And your pictures - and now I have no doubt they are yours - are still overpriced.

The only time I comment negatively is in response to a boast or etc., or where someone wants critique. There are other situations where the subject matter is presented in such a way as to invite wild comments...like the recent post of vamping strippers... Yuck!

Not denying it's your own "work" (I'm using the word advisedly) I see?

You don't argue very well do you? I see you conveniently snipped out parts of my reply. By posting the link, and letting people choose whether to click it or not, you're saying they get what they deserve - so you don't think much of the pics either.
You're no fun any more.

Maybe it's just a strange coincidence. :)
