Hello, I have bought some days ago a xD-Picture Card  (512 mb) of type
M for my digital machine Olympus C-60 in USA .
Unfortunately your card does not seem to work, what I can do? Must I
format this card before using it?
Is there any software to fix this annoying problem?
thank you very much

It's always a good idea to freshly-format a new card in the camera; I also
re-format after downloading each time, rather than simply delete the photos.
But there may be a different issue here, since you have an "M"-type xD card,
and that have problems with many readers... and possibly cameras as well.
The C-60 is old enough that it may not be able to deal with an "M"-type
card. You should be able to find standard (don't recall the designation)
cards in 512meg size. I think it's only 1gig where you don't have a choice.
