Hi My son has an olympus camera with a 1gb xd card. When I put it in my daughters c-450, it wants me to format it. I did not format as it has my sons photos on it. Will the c-450 take the 1gb card? Why do I get the format message with card that works in another olympus camera. Probably because the C-450 doesn't work with cards as large as 1GB. Some Olympus cameras accept 1GB xD cards, others don't. Check Olympus's website. Somewhere on it they have a "compatibility" page that shows which cameras are compatible with those cards.
