Hi All,

I need some info about performance categary digital camera having a
good long length movie capturing modes or facilities.

Like Pentex Optio MX and Olympus C770 cameras have a mpeg 4 movie
capture mode so you can capture a movie of around 2 hrs with 1gb card.

are there any good Quality cameras  from Canon, Sony or panasonic or
any vendor which have this type of long length movie capturing
facilities and all camera features also.

Or any camera which doesn't have mpeg 4 or such standards but can
upgrade later on but the camera features are good.

Thanks & regards
Kedar

Hi Kedar.

I have a Panasonic Lumic FZ-30 which does movies mode in 640x480 resolution
at 25 or 30 fps, saved movies are MOV (quicktime type)

Movie length is limited only to SD card space available.

Camera is 8MP with 12x optical zoom and image stabilization, plenty of
reviews available online.

Hope this helps
