Really? That seems awfully complicated.
My camera lets out a little sigh whenever the shot is underexposed, so
as long as you listen carefully, it's quite easy to tell.

Well there is the little blinky thing in the viewfinder too but I tend
to ignore all that. It would be nice if it said things to me like "you
moron, you forgot & left the ISO at 800 & this is full daylight" or
"It's going to look blurry at this speed, Paul"

I look at the histogram and decide for myself.
