Panasonic FZ5 Download Problem

When photo's downloaded from my FZ5 are viewed on my PC I have
experienced some problems. Photo's taken as Movies are shown as JPG
files; some Still shots are shown simultaneously as JPG and Movies.
The Movies do not play on my PC, but play OK on the camera.

I'm using Panasonic SD Viewer on Windows XP Pro.

I've also tried Arcsoft Photo Base 4.5 with similar results and the
addition of bmp files duplicating some JPG files.

I would be pleased to receive any comments/suggestions.

I believe that the camera's raw format is QuickTime. At least it is on
my FZ 10...

I haven't used the movie mode on my FZ-5 much, but I believe the camera
stores the first frame of the movie as a low-res jpeg, in order to present a
"preview".
Install QuckTime to view the movies on PC (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/).
