The software delivered with my new camera asks for windows 98SE and does not
wants to install on Windows 98.

Is there a solution for this problem?

Thanks very much in advance,

Hans

wild guess .. your camera has an usb to computer connection ?

you need W98SE to properly support that ..

The "Obvious" solution is to upgrade to Second Edition, which should be
quite inexpensive. (computer fairs in UK often have this sort of thing
at knockdown prices). Otherwise...Is the camera software essential? you
can probably get by with a card reader and third party software to
handle the images. USB should work in standard W98, it's just a bit more
stable in SE
