I am a professional fashion photographer who dislikes obnoxious people unable to measure up to their bragging. I also dislike men who think they are somehow more entitled to an opinion than females. I use 645 Pentax and Canon 1D Mk II Cameras. What more do you need to know before I can make a post to a public newsgroup voicing my opinion on the bad behaviour of one of the "guys"? I have lurked here for many, many months and watched the vulgar display of contempt you males all seem to have for each other. I have given Bret a hard time from time to time on his needling of D- Mac, but if you are here for any length of time you will see D-Mac for what he really is. There have been several people who would defend D-Mac, Draco and John are two that come to mind, but D-Mac's hateful writing eventually turned then both off. Neither of these people started out putting down D-Mac, but it is hard to stay in these groups and stay neutral about him. Having said all that many of the current attaches on Douglas are mean spirited and childish. If you care to Google, you'll see some direct slams addressed to both of them when they're out of line. It seems to swing back and forth a bit as to which is the larger swine any given week. If you are going to defend someone with a bit of a reputation for sockpuppetry, then it is probably best for your credibility to avoid a few things: - posting pretty much out of the blue - stating you are a pro, but either using a false name, or not having any other web-presence - using language that sounds strikingly like that of the person you are defending Not that I'm suggesting for a moment that you are not who you say you are, of course.
