Faulty Canon 350d

Just got my new camera tonight and the two buttons on the back of the camera
at the top right hand side don't stand slightly proud of the body so its
virtually impossible to press them. They should look like the one's in the
photo below :-

Anyone else had the same fault ?

Mine look like the picture but it's still hard to get the + one to
depress.  I have to think about it rather than just pressing it by
touch like the - one.
