Have Canon WAs finally turned the corner??

Seems like it in this test against two top primes, on FF Canon, of
course.

I'm really impressed!  It's nothing compared to the old 17-35/2.8 Nikkor,
but it is still very exciting.  I'm with Skip on his observations and advice
to wait a bit for Canon to work the preproduction bugs out of this lens.  I
figure in 6-9 months this might be up to Nikkor quality.
