The last one in Sept 2006 was pretty decent, no Photokina, but most of
the relevant new equipment was there.

Big deal, a show offered by the most expensive camera store chain in
Canada. Pay to see stuff they want to sell us?

What do you care if all the mfgs show up with their products?

So?
First, prove that Henry's is the most expensive camera store in Canada.
Then if so, by how much? 5%? 10%? At the last show in Ottawa, they had
pretty good deals.
Besides, if you want to see new cameras first hand and ask questions, the
different companies were there. You could see a plethora of cameras, lenses,
accessories, etc.

The guy is full of s---.  He's parroting what he heard somewhere.
I've purchased my last 4 cameras from them and in each case, were as
good or better than the competition and they HAD stock.

Rich,
If I might add, they do offer service...
