reading comprehension is not one of your skills, is it?
third paragraph:
The machines currently dispense Kingston Technology's SD and
CompactFlash memory cards and DataTraveler USB drives.

Not only that, but he apparently can't read--as the article clearly
described the inclusion of CF cards...

Even more amazing ... the article didn't mention the Memory Stick,
which is more than enough evidence for RichA to proclaim the death of
Sony or some such nonsense. (Memory Stick is on the list of available
products.)

Hmm ... your native language must be French [Canuck] as it clearly says there
are compact flash cards in that machine. Perhaps they don't sell them in
Toronto though ;-)

Hi Thomas!
My native language is French.
Nevertheless, I can read the darn thing.
Please read on... being French may not be the reason:
In the second paragraph:
http://edutopia.org/magazine/ed1article.php?id=Art_1446&issue=feb_06
"Unfortunately, more than 8 million U.S. students in grades 4-12 struggle to
read, write, and comprehend adequately. Only three out of ten eighth graders
read at or above grade level, according to the 2004 National Assessment of
Educational Progress".
And that's only the tip of the iceberg ;-))))
Marcel ( a Canuck, francophone who can read English).

Please don't take my comment as a bash on French Canuck, it was not. It was a
clear bash on RichA who is illustrating no comprehension skills at all and in
the midst of a trolling attempt was just simply ludicrous.

Thanks Thomas.
But I'd rather think he was fast on the gun, smelling another occasion to
criticize.
When one is completely preoccupied with making a point, reading for
comprehension takes the back seat ;-)
Regards,
Marcel

French isn't welcomed in Toronto

Did you read the article?
"The machines currently dispense Kingston Technology's SD and CompactFlash
memory cards and DataTraveler USB drives." The one listed after SD is CF
(Hence CompactFlash memory cards). Duh!

Again, you demonstrate why you are not to be taken seriously...
"The machines currently dispense Kingston Technology's SD and
CompactFlash memory cards and DataTraveler USB drives."
But this is nothing new.

#1) Read the article you link to first next time. This is usenet, not
Slashdot.
#2) ~Two years after you've been proclaiming the death of Compact
Flash, its still here to stay.
>From Sandisk's website
http://www.sandisk.com/Products/Catalog(1189)-SanDisk_Extreme_IV_CompactFlash.aspx
Fastest compact flash (mk IV) is 40mb/sec and 8gb storage capacity.

rds.aspx
Fastest SD (mk III) is 20mb/sec and 4gb storage.
CF is still the preferred media for professional and/or heavy use with
most electronic devices. Its certainly more durable media.

RichA saw the machine in person, it was right beside the used school
girl panty machine in Tokyo. He didn't read CF card so he used the other
machine.
