Any reviews of 350XT yet?

Seems like the Canon 350 has been out for a couple weeks now; has anybody
seen a "real" review yet? I'm dying to know how it stacks up via the 20D,
particularly in terms of noise at higher ISO.

Thanks-

The 350/XT was reviewed using a pre-production model on DPReview last
month. Even though the camera was not a regular production item, 99% of
the review should be accurate. Any differences, if they exist, should be
minor...most likely slight firmware improvements.

If you haven't seen the review, you can find it here:

Not a review but here are some shot I took with my new 350D and the kit
lens.

Yes, saw that one (and several others), but they mainly address the physical
layout and general sense of quality.

What I want to see compared are-

Focusing speed
Noise (at both normal and very high ISO)
Battery life
Time to resume shooting after buffer fills
And, of course, some comparison photos on image resource's comparometer

For starters, anyway! :>)

I don't know of a review that covers everything...you'll have to do what
others have done...search for the info yourself.

Google is your friend...

Here's a bit of a review - but not an in depth test/comparison with
competition.

John: Thanks, not bad, still looks like a pre-production review but... I
followed a link from that site to this-

Probably the best comparison so far between the 350 and 20D. Thanks for
sending me in the right direction!

Considering the new 350XT uses Canon's new image processor DIGIC II, the same
one used in the 1Ds Mark II and the 20D, one could reasonably assume that it
would deliver similar, MUCH improved high ISO/low noise performance.

I bought my 20D the end of November.  If I were buying today, I probably would
choose the new RebelXT.

Here's a "me too".  I played with my nephew's new XT today.  I do like my
20d better, but if the XT had been available in September when I got my
camera, I'd have gotten the XT to save the difference in cost....and get
another lens.

Eh, more like an advertisement. I woulda got this instead of a D70 if it
was available but really it's 100% kudos without a single reservation.
How much do you suppose they were paid for this image:
