Nikon puts the Big Freeze on!!!

This is why Nikon will always be the word leader in optics.  This feat can
only be pulled off with Nikon glass.

The feat can be pulled off with any camera and lens system that has
electrically tripped shutters.  This includes most new bodies from about
1990.

Oh, you can do it with any camera, even some P&S cameras, but if you don't
have good optics it's really not worth doing.  There's a reason why they are
using up to 600 Nikons and not any other brand for this.

...mostly because these days Nikon glass is available at any junkyard a dime a
dozen.

You're not kidding!  These cheap-a.s DX lenses are killing Nikon.  This is
why it's mandatory for the serious Nikon shooter to shoot with both Nikon
and Canon.  I've found too many holes in both systems to make this the only
logical choice.
