After reading on this ng about the lens reversal ring, I bought one and
tried it out.  Test shot of ballpoint pen.  Dave

Nikon D70, Nikon 105 macro, with Nikon 50mm 1.8 reversed.
    For some reason the lost postings are finding there way 'in',
notice the two o'clock posting following the seven O'clock postings??????

Rather than these multilens contrivances (every element hurts
contrast, sharpness) why not microlenses that don't need bellows?

So in your opinion a simple single-element lens loses
contrast and sharpness when you add more elements?

PS: Microlenses??? Are you serious?
