I you a Rebel XT, and I wish to connect Strobes with a PC sync cord.  Which
safe sync do I need?  A Wein SSHSHS (hot shoe to hot shoe high voltage) or a
HSHSB (hot shoe to hot shoe safe sync) I'm not sure what the difference is.
My Smith Victor strobes are supposed to be around 12 volts, so I need
something.  Any help would be appreciated.  tx blah

Those two devices as you state are the same , w990560.
They mount to a hot shoe and provide both a shoe for shoe mount flash
and a PC connector for use with a PC cable.

in the middle. "Me who is part taoist and part Christian".

I thought XT is safe for upto 250 V trigger voltage. Check your manual
please.

Both Wein models will reduce the trigger voltage to 6 V. SSHSHS has tripod
mount for off camera use in addition to hotshoe mount; HSHSB can be used
only on the camera hotshoe.
