Weather protective camera bag?

Looking for a good camera bag to hold an SLR body, which is weather
sealed, and 3 lenses that are not.  Getting caught in a downpour is
pretty much guaranteed.  I'll do my best to keep everything out of the
river.

Suggestions?  Big and bulky won't do.  It needs to fit in my luggage
with the rest of my gear.  The lenses are not terribly expensive.  This
is partly by design.

what about one of the Lowepro All Weather bags since I assume the
not-bulky requirement rules out a pelican sealed case?

Cheers,

I use a LowePro Orion AW (All Weather).
This one:

They hav ea full line of bags, many of which are AW--meaning they have a
built-in rain-cover.  It's saved my gear quite of number of times in heavy,
estended downpour.

I am intrigued by the Slingshot 200 AW.  Does anyone know if a 75-300/F5.6
will fit?  This would be a Sigma 75-300 F4-5.6 APO attached to a Pentax
K10D.

I have the 100 AW here at the moment for testing and I don't think it
would go in that one. Haven't tried the 200.

I must say I mostly like the 100AW. I've been using it to take a camera
and a couple of lenses when I cycle in the morning. Only hassle is that
it will swing around when you don't want it to sometimes when you bend
over to do things, like in my case fiddle with the bike.

Cheers,

Wayne

Slingshot 200 AW is quite versatile and you can readjust the internal
partitions to suit your equipment. The maximum depth you can get is about
8 inches (20 cm).

I have the 200AW and that Sigma lens, but on a KM 5D, which I don't
imagine is very much different in size from a K10D. It all fits just
fine. The 200AW is a great bag, with everything really well thought
out. I haven't had the occasion to put its AW cover to the test,
though.

(sorry if this post appears twice - I'll blame Google Groups)

I have the Sigma 75-300 on my KM 5D in a Slingshot 200AW - fits just
fine, along with a variety of other lenses and accessories. It's a
great bag, though I haven't tested the AW bit yet.

You might try taking a look at your local boating store and see what
they have. Don't look for "Camera" bags, just bags.

Check out Pelican.  They make both hard and soft cases.  Example:

This is what I have:

s=REG&addedTroughType=categoryNavigation

It will hold everything you might need, photographically speaking...
