Should I sell my old "F"?

I'm pondering whether I should sell my old Nikon F.  All original with a
motor drive -- works perfectly.

I have two thoughts on this.  1. Get rid of it while it still has some
value.  2. Hang onto it as it may become a collectible one day.  I still
have a second F for film if needed.

Any thoughts?

(2) unless you need the space or money.  Remember to remove any
batteries....

I think the Nikon F is already a collectible. As far as I can tell, demand
from people who want to buy an F just for photography is low enough that
prices are set by the collectors.

Of course it is very hard to predict if and by how much prices will go up
in the future.

That was it. Done. The faulty Monk was turned out into the desert where it
could believe what it liked, including the idea that it had been hard done
by. It was allowed to keep its horse, since horses were so cheap to make.

The old Nikon F is the B-52 of the camera world. The saying in the BUFF
(Big Ugly Fat F ... er Fellow) is when the last B2 is flown to the
Boneyard at Davis-Monthan AFB the crew will hitch a ride home in a B-52.

I always understood BUFF to stand for Big Ugly Flying F***er.

Anyone have any other interpretations?  ;-)

Neil, you seem to have different definitions than everyone else. Are you
from Canada? ;)

Or you can just use Big Ugly Fat Fellow in polite company.
