I have just returned my second Canon Rebel XTi/400D to the vendor.

Both failures were the inability to read a compact flash card.  This
was after many different cf cards.

Just wondering if this is a design problem.

Happy shooting and Joyful Holidays,
Gordon

Never a problem here, with several brands of flash & microdrive cards.

You need only reflect that one of the best ways to get yourself a
reputation as a dangerous citizen these days is to go about repeating
the very phrases which our founding fathers used in the struggle for
independence.
