That's like sending a metal tank against spear-throwers clad in plastic
armour.

10 days ago you posted about the XTi:
>And a shutter like a sledgehammer.
So it's "no surprise" that a camera with a "shutter like a sledgehammer" has
the least noise???

Funny.

Hi RichA,

No. There is no sense or logic behind this. You post no sources for your
statements. Is this just grabbed out of the air or do you actually have
some sources that support your statements? Are these "results" going to be
posted again next week with completely different conclusions? Who cares?

It's the consensus of a number of reviews I've read on them.
Who cares? Anyone buying one or thinking of buying one.
For instance. Lets say your goal when buying one was the widest
dynamic range. Then you'd get the Sony since it has a mechanism
the others don't to achieve this.
If you wanted the lowest "out of camera" noise, you'd go for the Canon,
etc.

I seldom agree with Rich/RichA, but how does his quote lowest noise have
anything to do with the loud shutter of the XTi. The term noise refers
to how low in noise (grainy look) at high ISO settings the camera has.
The XT/XTi feel like they were made by Mattel.
