I wouldn't > hesitate to buy one if I were in need of a 30mm prime. i thought of 50/f1.8 or f1.4 canon lens, but it's aa bit too narrow for crop camera, since i get basically 80 mm from it. SO, i, too, think of buying some more wide one, and i think that 30 --->48 would be better... it's just this sigma is still more expensive than canon 50/f1.4 so i wonder, if it's worthed.......
