Do you mean the "Crane Kick"?  How appropos, LOL!

Ed...
Great pix on your site!  Chesapeake Estuary is my stomping ground
also.  This past July, I got into kayaking, primarily to give me a
different view of nature and I have been very pleased with the results.
I have captured egrets, cranes, sandpipers, osprey, geese, ducks,
deer, beavers, river otters and other odds and ends but eagles have been
elusive.  Got 2 but only in passing so the quality is poor.  Where did
you get your eagles?

Thanks to you and others on the kind comments. The eagle shots were taken
along the eastern shore of the James River around the College Creek area
along the Colonial Parkway, across the river from the Surry power plant:

Great pix Ed.  Those humming birds are tough to get -- they only
have two speeds; hover and gone !!

Why does the bird in #4 have his middle toe lifted up while he
is looking at you ????  ;-)

Great shots.  Your other gallerys are exellent also.  I spent 2 years
stationed at NAS Norfolk in the 80's and married my first wife in Ocean
City, MD.
