Hello,
I'm very interested in stabylization system of K100D, in fact I was going to
sell my DL to buy K100D.

Looking for it on ebay, I found that Minolta 7D runs out for about the same
price.

What do you think about these 2 models?

* I know Pentax quite well and I'm very satisfied of it. Otherwise don't
know absolutely nothing about Minolta quality.
* Minolta 7D is an older model (2004) than K100D but the Pentax CCD is very
old
too! Never changed from the first *ist D/DS model!
* Minolta 7D looks more professional. Also it was sold for more than 1500
USD

Looking forward your comments!

Thx,
Qbert

Get the Pentax K10D, will be out in a few weeks, you will be happy with it,
takes your SD cards as well.

The 7D can be had these days at about $1000 - $1300 (even less) if you
can find it.  It has been out of production since late 2005.

The A100 from Sony (same system, KM "sold" the DSLR line to Sony) uses
the same lens system and now has a 10Mpix camera (A100) for US$900.

Comparing the 100D to the 7D:
Same (or pretty much the same) sensor
Same in virtually everything else
the 7D is probably a better camera for serious photogs in the manner
that the controls are laid out: a button, knob, dial, switch for just
about everything, less menu diving or "shift" modes.

The K100D is only disappointing in that it is 6 Mpix which is a bit on
the low side for today's consumer DSLR's.

So look at the K10D instead and compare it to the Sony A100, the Nikon
D80, the Canon 400D and the Olympus E400 which are all slugging it out
in the 10 Mpix region.

Cheers,
Alan
